Adoption Is Love – The Colors of Love

Our goal is to promote adoption awareness, provide adoption support and adoption resource information for all facets of the adoption triad. Attleboro, MA (PRWEB) April 4, 2005 -- The Massachusetts-based organization, My Forever Family, is promoting adoption awareness, providing adoption support and adoption resource information for all facets of the adoption triad. My Forever Family is at the forefront of a campaign that is raising adoption awareness in the community and assisting adoptive families in raising funds to help defray their adoption costs. My Forever Family has designed a SignatureTM Collection of adoption related merchandise that is tri-colored in pink, yellow, and white-the true colors of adoption. The pink symbolizes birth parents; the yellow symbolizes adoptive parents; and the white symbolizes adoptees and adoption awareness. The uniting of these colors signify the birth parents, the adoptive parents, and adoption professionals all coming together for the good and the love of the child. “The adoption merchandise promotes the multifaceted partnership needed for a successful adoption. Most adoptions entail a complex and very costly process,” explains the organization’s director, Jenna Steele. The adoption items are intended increase awareness and educate individuals on the adoption process. Steele explains, “Many individuals do not understand what is involved in an adoption until they have gone through it themselves. My husband and I created our family through two successful domestic, transracial adoptions. I want to encourage other families to adopt and provide avenues to allow these families to not incur the financial burden associated with most private agency adoptions.” The proceeds raised from the adoption merchandise will be used to spread adoption awareness and provide adoptive parents with funding opportunities to help defray the adoption fees. According to Steele, who has been through the adoption process personally, “There are so many available children all over the world that need forever families, but the cost associated with adoption discourages many families from proceeding with the process.” My Forever Family initiated this awareness campaign to encourage all families know that they too can adopt too! Seminars on financing your adoption will be given all over Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island throughout 2005. For more information about the adoption awareness campaign and the financing adoption seminar, please feel free to contact Jenna Steele at (508) 532-2720.
