To be member of Tax Moms/Mr Tax Moms, a tax professional does not have to be licensed by any government agency, but can be more experienced than a CPA Mom/Dad.
Anybody can join Tax Moms/Mr Tax Moms. Even someone, who has never prepared a tax return if they are willing to obtain tax knowledge. It is recommended to start their training with H & R Block or Jackson Hewitt. These companies offer employee-training classes, for a fee, in the fall. If you successfully complete either one of these training classes, the training company (H & R Block\Jackson Hewit) will offer you a job preparing taxes in their company. Since you will have to pay for the class, you are under no obligation to accept the job. Tax Moms will start your in home training after you complete their course.
The new Tax Moms/Mr Tax Moms start mainly prepare the simpler wage earner returns. A large number of these want to use their tax refund as collateral for a loan. Therefore, new every Tax Moms/Mr Tax Moms will receive additional training in tax loan processing. All tax returns must be prepared according to IRS standards.
To work as a Tax Moms\Mr Tax Mom a level of proficiency must be demonstrated to Tax Net Inc.
